Wildlife Value

Good browse food for big game, rabbits, and beaver.  Provides forage for browsing wildlife such as whitetail and mule deer through the sapling stage.  Provides important nesting and roosting habitat for various species of birds.  Introduced from Europe, north Africa, and central Asia.
