If you would like to be put on our mailing list for 2009 workshops, please call us at 303-621-2070 ext. 101 or or mail us.    2008 teachers workshop, sponsored by AgriCULTURE in the Classroom information below will give an idea of what can be expected at one of these workshops.  This information will be updated for 2009 as soon as available.

What is it?

Limited to only 50 people.

Register Early!

A four day workshop designed to assist K-12 teachers interested in natural resources so that they will include natural resource issues in their classroom curriculum.

The cost is $250.00 with a $75.00 deposit.  Approved teachers will only have to pay the $75.00 and the Kiowa Conservation District will pay the remainder of the tuition.

You must register no later than July 1, 2008.

Graduate Credits Each teacher who participates in the workshop and completes a team class project earns two graduate credits from Adams State College.

  • Tuition for 2 credits
  • Class Materials
  • You will need to make your own room reservations.  Rooms are available at Colorado Mountain College for $25.00/night double occupancy and $40.00/night single occupancy.  The Kiowa Conservation District will pay up to $25.00/night for four nights.
